The streets were buzzing with the news of Lil Scrappy being involved in a stabbing incident this weekend. According to reports, the rapper was stabbed in Dekalb County on Friday (July 18) night, arrested and then taken to the hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening wounds.

Atlanta’s WSBTV reported that Scrappy’s sister called the rapper claiming that she was just involved in a fight with her boyfriend. Scrappy headed over to his sister’s house and became involved in an altercation with the boyfriend.

According to authorities, Scrap was stabbed during the scuffle. The rapper was subsequently arrested and taken to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

He was charged with marijuana possession, weapons possession, and obstruction of officers.

According to reports, the sister’s boyfriend was not arrested or charged.

Scrap was released yesterday (June 20) morning on $1,500 bond.

At press time, there had been no comment from the ATL rapper regarding the incident.
